We also added a special reflective coating. It focuses the energy right where you need it—forward. This means less wasted heat and a noticeable boost in efficiency. Then there’s the R7s connector. It’s the workhorse. It snaps in place, making a solid connection for that heavy current. You just wire it up—no extra brackets needed. And those spring-loaded contacts? The lamp itself runs hot and fast, sure, but the ends of the quartz tube and the R7s base stay cool. That’s a huge win, because it keeps your nearby components safe. Now, here’s the one thing to keep in mind. Running 2500W at 400V means you need a power supply that can really handle it, and proper cooling is non-negotiable.
