It’s all in the details
Most people just look at voltage and wattage. But that’s not where the magic happens. We obsess over the heat flux per millimeter. See, if the filament diameter or the quartz thickness is off by even a tiny bit, the IR wavelength shifts. When that happens, the PET preform doesn’t absorb the energy the same way. By aligning our filaments with the original thermal footprint, the heat penetrates exactly how it should. Your blow-molding cycle times stay right where they are. No surprises.
Built to actually last
We use high-purity quartz because these things run hot and fast. Cheap glass burns out. Ours doesn’t. Plus, we kept the connector footprints exactly the same. You just wire them in. No modifying lamp holders, no “making it fit,” no frustration. We also treated the quartz to fight off that carbon buildup you always see in high-speed blowing.
A quick heads-up on cooling
Here’s the thing: these lamps put out a massive amount of heat. That means your cooling system has to keep up. If your oven vents are clogged or your fans are on their last legs, these lamps will run too hot. Just make sure your airflow is clear so the quartz doesn’t overheat. The best part? You can stop the guesswork. You don’t have to spend your afternoon re-tuning heating zones every time you change a lamp. Just plug them in, run your usual profile, and the preform hits the target temperature every single time.
